envelop our nations capital every Spring you’ll find one of
the most sought-after boutique hotels in Africa – The romantically
named Illyria House. A secret retreat of royalty, heads of state
and celebrities from around the world, this gracious residence is
the quintessence of elegance and discreet luxury. The interior is

everything and you are invited to indulge in pedicures, manicures,
facials and massages in the glorious privacy of your room.
Fairy lights twinkle in the garden and soft classical music creates
an almost magical atmosphere as we are led to our exquisitely laid
table on a candlelit veranda. A delicate tomato soup is followed
by a mouth-watering artichoke salad and a refreshing kiwi sorbet
crisps the palate for the next succulent course. Next you
have the choice between some exceptional dishes ranging from
lobster and fillet to Guinea Fowl... Illyria House is
conveniently situated 25 minutes from Johannesburg International
Airport and only five minutes from Pretoria Railway Station, making
